This is remote, home-based position.

Scopic Software (https://scopicsoftware.com/careers/) is the largest virtual software company in the world. We have over 200 employees spread across 30 different countries. All employees work from home. We develop custom software applications for clients in North America and Europe. The company is looking to hire a talented Senior Ruby on Rails Developer. Work hours are flexible. Projects are interesting and challenging.

Required Skills:

• 4+ years professional experience in software development;

• Strong experience in Ruby on Rails;

• Experience in SQL;

• Experience in JavaScript;

• Ability to work with Javascript client side frameworks (e.g. Angular, Ember, React, etc.);

• Linux system administration experience;

• Experience with database design, is a plus;

• Strong English reading, writing, and speaking skills;

• Ability to work directly with a client;

• Bachelor"s Degree or higher;

• Stable internet connection and home computer;

• Dedication and discipline to work remotely from home;

This is a full-time position.

Hourly rate range is $20- $24/hr depending on skills and experience.
