Обязанности

Provide (verbal and written) translation of technical documents, correspondence and communication from English into Russian/Kazakh and from Russian/Kazakh into English to ensure effective operation of the Department.

JOB DUTIES

The main job duties of Technical Translator are to:

Translate specific discipline-related documentation, materials and correspondence, interpret for User department Managers and specialists at business and working meetings.

Carry out written and verbal "full and brief-translations conveying the exact meaning style and lexical content of text and conversations, maintain established terminology and definitions

Edit .translated texts and (depending. on the competence) cha.ck. and edit ·texts translated ·by other Tra.mlat9rs, particularly official "document"s to be sent to State authorities and ·organizations

Clarify and unify terminology, definitions and conceptions .in the texts ·as per specific areas of the industry.

Participate "in preparation of .reports/minutes Of meetings and negotiations held, keep required records and prepare technical documentation

Ensure high quality ·of translations

Ensure confidentiality of document content and subj e.ct of negotiations

Maintain electronic database of translated documentation, ensure the .system .of quick search of the documents and assist With document management.

Perform other duties as per request" or the Lead Technical Translator within the competence of the position"

AUTHORITIES

Technical translator is authorised to:

Enquire and be submitted with necessary documentation relating to activity within the competence of this position

Report to the Department management about all revealed shortcomings within his/her competence

Put forward a proposal regarding Improvement of the activities implemented within this position

Technical Translator 1::higher education· (University degree. Or higher).as per
